I am extremely sad and shocked to hear about the tragic passing of Rossini.
I was very fond her. She was always smiling, always jolly and I enjoyed chatting away with her in Spanish. I think that she also enjoyed speaking with me in her mother tongue and for that our chats were special and memorable to us both. We had met in Ibiza once or twice. It was there that she took a photograph of me sitting on the stairs of the club that either myself or Tony Hadley was going to perform in later that evening. She came to the Cloudfish gig at Maidstone in March with her Spanish friends, Pilar and Gema (all the way from Barcelona!!) where they gave me a book of memories; cuttings and souvenirs from the Spandau days. There is a picture of Rossini and me together in there. I'm so very sad to hear about her tragic and untimely passing and she will be sorely missed indeed.
My deepest sympathy, love and support goes to all of Rossini’s family and friends.
